Welcome to the Rotary Club of Tenterden

Please feel free to look around and discover more about our club in Tenterden, its aims and objectives, and of Rotary in general.
The Rotary Club of Tenterden was founded in 1947 and draws its members from the ancient Cinque town of Tenterden located near the South Kent coast in England, to the west of Canterbury and east of Hastings. Our weekly meetings are held on Thursdays at the Tenterden Club, in the centre of the town.!
Interested - but not sure what it's all about ?
Tenterden Rotary club is introducing a new type of membership as a means of growing the club and increasing the amount of good work it does. As a “Friend of Rotary” you can help in the many projects and fund raising activities the club organises and be part of a fun and lively organisation.
As a “Friend of Rotary” there's a vast array of things you can get involved in, from organising events and competitions, supporting local charities and developing young people, to assisting with disaster relief and even eradicating diseases such as polio worldwide.
Our local activities include supporting the Tenterden Day centre with hands on projects, raising funds for local and National good causes and various activities with local schools such as Youth Speaks and Young Chef.
If you want to learn more about Rotary and help support community and International aid projects, the “Friend of Rotary” scheme offers an easy and flexible opportunity to get involved. Call Phil Auden (01580 762204) for an informal chat.
