David Chaplin has been a member of Hitchin Rotary Club for forty years.
Originally an academic in Further and higher Education, David established a firm of Chartered Secretaries in the mid-nineties. He retired at the age of 75, and his son and daughter in law persuaded him and wife Diane to consider moving closer to them (they have a converted Farmhouse at Hawkhurst).
David and Diane loved Tenterden from the moment they first saw it in June and moved into a new house at Threefields three days before Christmas.
